I would like all the solutions you have other than buying a cooling unit. I am already going to do that. I am buying the new MW2 bundle and I really don’t want it to break. I would love some helpful, creattive ideas.
At my friends house (this is with PS3 but it works all the same) we just point a small room fan next to his ps3 so it doesn’t overheat cuz he doesn’t have a cooling unit. You could also just not play your xbox that much, or you could open a window.
How do I keep my Xbox from overheating?

The best thing to do is to keep it out of an enclosed space, the battery pack and the system. Cool, Damp towels over some parts will help too but only temporarily

Don’t wrap towels around your Xbox 360.

and if you want free Microsoft Points or Xbox LIVE codes, or anything else, I would suggest using Prize Rebel. I thought it was fake, but then I tried it and I wanted to get 1600 MS points, so I gathered up enough points by answering surveys, and I put in a request, and in my email box there was a code for the 1600 MS points. I’m so happy it works. You should try it. Sign up here: http://tinyurl.com/MSP4FREE

James, I don’t use any cooling methods and our Xbox runs fine.
