Well, I had a problem similar to this and here is what I did to permanently fix the problem:
1. I turned off my Xbox 360 and cleaned it down. I tried to get the dust out and whatnot. I did the same with my hard-drive. (Take out the game before this)
2. Put the hard-drive back on the 360 and then turn on the 360. Now install the game to your hard-drive and then turn back off your Xbox 360.
3. Turn the Xbox back on, then start up Call of Duty: WaW and see if this works.
I honestly hope this works cause it did for me. Good Luck!
Call of duty takes more processing power than a DVD.
