Does xbox 360 still have overheating problems?

<< What should I do if my xbox 360 keeps overheating?  Why is my xbox 360 overheating? >>

I know they did when they were first released. But do they now?

Mine gets hot, but it hasnt done anything weird. If I keep my house fan on it, it seems to be running like a kitten.
And I play Oblivion like allllllll day so i would know

I’ve had my 360 for a few months now and have had now problems with overheating (as some people have had in the past).

However, my system (as with all of them) does sit up off the ground with good air circulation all around it. This not only helps prevent over heating, but reduces the risk of static shock and helps keep the performance up.

They have fixed those problems. If I remember right they are now on the 4th version.

They fixed the problem a while back. It won’t overheat, unless you throw a blanket over the unit and the power source while it’s 87 degrees inside and play for 4 hours.
