I waited two more days before playing again, but after those two days, my 360 still showed the two red lights after start up. So, one day, I decided to first take the COD4 disk out, and try again. It seemed to work, as my xbox 360 preformed normally and did not show any red lights, but as soon as I put a game disk back into my 360, the fans started blowing like crazy again, and caused the two red lights to appera. I tried starting up my xbox 360 with no game a second time, but just after about 10 minutes, the console overheated on its own. Now the time my 360 takes to overheat grows shorter and shorter every time I try to start it up. i’ve even tried doing what other people have told me, like not playing my 360 and letting it cool down for about a day, which I did the first time it overheated, but it didn’t work. I once even let it cool down for four days, but it would still overheat after about 10 minutes. How do I fix this? can I send it to Gamestop for a repair? Does Microsfot’s warranty cover this?

I don’t want to send it in to microsfot, because I have lost my warranty sticker, but you can tell me if I have a good idea gouing if you look at my question titled " Xbox 360 warranty help". Plus, I heard Microsoft’s warranty only covers 3 red lights.

two red leds is not rrod as stated above post so do not do t/trick also above
is 360 siting on carpet in a book or tv cabinet it must be well ventilated
what about dust any around vents side top and bottom
as long as the box has not been open you may be alright as my sons warranty seal was damaged but ms fix the problem
ring ms and ask it better for them to fix it then you pay for it youself
also the power brick can over heat were is it sitting on a carpet floor i bet like 100 of others
